Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Marrakech Sightseeing

Overnight: Marrakech

Begin your Moroccan adventure in Marrakech.

Explore the city's famous Medina and discover some of its most important sights, including Jemaa el-Fna square, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace and the traditional souks.

Enjoy the atmosphere of the Red City before spending your first night in Marrakech.

Overnight: Marrakech

Day 2 — Marrakech → High Atlas → Aït Ben Haddou → Dades Gorge

Overnight: Dades Gorge

Leave Marrakech and drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains.

Continue toward Aït Ben Haddou, one of Morocco's most famous fortified villages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After the visit, continue through the landscapes of southern Morocco toward Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses before reaching Dades Gorge.

Overnight: Dades Gorge

Meals: Breakfast and dinner

Day 3 — Dades Gorge → Todra Gorge → Merzouga

Overnight: Sahara Desert Camp

Continue toward the Sahara.

Visit Todra Gorge, known for its dramatic limestone cliffs, before continuing toward Erfoud and Merzouga.

In the afternoon, enjoy a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset over the Sahara before arriving at your desert camp.

Enjoy dinner, traditional music and the peaceful atmosphere of the desert under the stars.

Day 4 — Merzouga → Rissani → Zagora

Overnight: Zagora

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes.

After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel south toward Rissani, an important historic town and gateway to the desert.

Continue toward Zagora through the changing landscapes of southeastern Morocco and the Draa Valley.

Overnight: Zagora

Meals: Breakfast and dinner

Day 5 — Zagora → Draa Valley → Agadir

Overnight: Agadir

Leave Zagora and travel west toward Agadir.

Enjoy the scenery of the Draa Valley and the landscapes that gradually change as you approach Morocco's Atlantic coast.

Arrive in Agadir and have time to relax or explore the city.

Day 6 — Agadir → Essaouira

Overnight: Essaouira

Enjoy some time in Agadir before continuing along the Atlantic coast toward Essaouira.

Explore the Medina, Skala and port, and enjoy fresh seafood or a walk along the beach.

Day 7 — Essaouira → Marrakech

Overnight: Marrakech

Enjoy the morning in Essaouira before beginning your journey back to Marrakech.

Depending on your interests and departure time, you can enjoy additional time in the Medina, visit the port or relax by the beach.

Continue to Marrakech and spend your final night in the city.
